Don't flush! I find it especially ironic that a quick review of Walgreens and CVS websites reveals an entire section (in Walgreens case, a completely separate website) devoted to environmental responsibility and includes things like recycling, energy efficiency, etc., but no mention of programs to dispose of unused pharmaceuticals. Would it really be that hard? At any rate, contact your local pharmacy or the drug company to see if they offer a take back service and if not, demand they do!
