Garbanzo, Spinach and Sweet Potato Soup

Pretty much all the ingredients in the title!

Dice up onion and garlic and saute in a large pot.

Add peeled and diced sweet potato, plus some cumin, fresh ground black pepper, garlic salt and rosemary.

Continue saute for 8-10 minutes on medium heat.

Add broth of choice (not sure why I went with chicken...the smell of it was really kinda gross!), and prepare a lot of fresh spinach by removing from stems in small pieces.

Let everything simmer for about 15-20 minutes.

Serve with a side of bread, or as some other eaters in this house, topped with parmesan!
