Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler

Another follow up post because YJDKIY knows you're curious! Remember this?

I finally planted the seeds last Thursday, six days later I have this:

Tiny basils and thymes just sprouting! The weather couldn't be more perfect to give these guys a head start. And I bought them a little inspiration.

Grow grow grow!

From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler is a novel by E. L. Konigsburg that won the Newbery Medal for excellence in American children's literature in 1968. The story begins when Claudia Kincaid, an 11-year-old girl (one month away from being 12) decides to run away from home because she thinks her parents don't appreciate her. Unfortunately, she doesn't like discomfort, so she runs away to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. She asks her younger brother Jamie to accompany her, partly because he's quiet, but most importantly, because he saves all of his money instead of spending it. More from wiki.
