Pesto


YJDKIY finally got some pinenuts....for $29.99/lb!


Picked a whole spinner full basils


Used my Cuisinart chopper to mush up some EVOO, nuts and 2 large cloves of garlic


Then added the basil, plus some grated parm


And spooned into ice cube trays to freeze for future reference!

  1. oh boy! now you are making some fine use of those basils! You can use walnuts to help stretch out the pine nuts. They take on the pine flavor when mixed together in the processor! YUM!
